NEW DELHI: American automaker Ford has launched the facelift version of its compact sedan Figo Aspire in India, price starting from Rs 5,55,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The sub-four-metre sedan competes with Maruti Suzuki, Dzire, Hyundai Xcent and Honda Amaze and equipped with a new 1.2-litre petrol engine, a three-cylinder unit that currently powers the Ford Freestyle.
"The New Ford Aspire is a complete package, tailor-made for those who don't follow the crowd and want more out of their car experience," said Anurag Mehrotra, President and Managing Director, Ford India.
The Facelift vehicle comes with changes like a honeycomb chrome grille, a new headlamp cluster, multi-spoke alloy wheels, updated ORVMs and a new pair of revised tail lamps.
The new petrol powered 1,194 cc engine generates 95 bhp powers at 6,500 rpm and develops 120 Nm of peak torque at 4,200 rp. “The New Ford Aspire is the only compact sedan in India to come with first-in-class five-year or 100,000 warranty, which includes 2-year factory warranty and 3-year extended warranty”, the company stated.
This new car is available in five variants across two fuel options and seven colours.
