Samsung to launch its new Android flip phone on November 9


Samsung is going to launch the SM-W2019, Samsung China has officially confirmed it.


The device will be released on November 9 in Wuxi, a city near Shanghai in eastern China. 

As expected, the company’s flagship flip phone will be unveiled in China like its predecessors. Samsung doesn’t release this device globally since there aren’t a lot of takers for it in other markets across the globe.

There have been a lot of rumours and leaks about Samsung’s new flip phone in recent weeks. The leaked images of the SM-W2019 shows that the design won’t be too different compared to his predecessor.

Samsung has always positioned its flagship flip phone as more of a luxury product in China. That appears to be the case for this latest model as well.

The device will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor, will have two Full HD resolution AMOLED displays, dual camera system at the back with AI features like Scene Optimizer.

The metal build body will give the device a premium look and feel, which is similar to its predecessor.

There is no information on how much the flip phone will cost, information will be revealed on November 9.
