We know of an entire universe because of one creative genius’ efforts and thousands across India say they will sorely miss looking out for ‘Stan the Man’ in post-credit scenes of Marvel movies.

Stan Lee, co-creator of iconic superheroes like Spider-Man, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, The X-Men, and the editor-in-chief of Marvel Comics passed away on Monday at the age of 95.  Celebrities nationwide pay tribute to the legendary writer.

Aditi Rao Hydari, actor

‘There is only one who is all powerful, and his greatest weapon is love’ is a quote, which will stay with me forever. Rest in peace Stan Lee, your ‘Marvel’lous universe will live on forever!

Mykael Kumar, tattoo artist

While I see many people mourn your death, I think this particular death should be celebrated. We should appreciate the epic life he lived, clocking out at 95 (while not looking it at all), creating universes of superheroes, which by extension helped us realise the heroes in many of us. Here’s to you, brother! Slay it forever. Thank you for all the Amazing.

As a collector, I’m glad I have at least one copy signed by Stan Lee, I mean he actually touched it! (Still, haven’t processed the news of his passing) I don’t know where to even begin thanking him from and for what all. Goodbye you master storyteller. You will be missed. Excelsior! I can’t believe we lost both the creators of Spider-man this year — Stan Lee and Steve Ditko in July — heartbreak can’t get any worse than this.

Rana Daggubati, actor

Cameos no more. Thank you for creating a universe of characters and stories for us to live in. Today we mourn one of the greatest influencers of my life and our times. Rest in peace, Stan Lee.

Rohit Sharma, cricketer

Stan Lee, you willbe missed. No Marvel movie will be complete without you. Thank you for leaving us with some of the greatest heroes of all time. And giving me my favourite superhero, Hulk.
