On Thursday, India had reported its first death due to coronavirus. A 76-year-old man from the state of Karnataka had died. The man from Kalaburagi had recently returned from Saudi Arabia, and his sample has been confirmed for COVID19.

On Friday, a 68-year-old woman, who had tested positive for coronavirus, died due to co-morbidity, diabetics and hypertension at a Delhi hospital.

The coronavirus, originated in china’s Wuhan city in December last year, has spread to more than 100 countries, infecting more than 1,20,000 people.

India has also started evacuating its citizens from other countries after the World Health Organization declared the coronavirus outbreak a pandemic and said that Europe is the new epicentre of the lethal virus.
