The star singer has been undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chennai since August 5

The confusion over the health condition of veteran singer SP Balasubrahmanyam continues amid rumors that he tested negative.

An agency report quoting Balasubrahmanyam’s son SP Charan said that the singer tested negative and is stable.

However, in a video, he denied the reports that his father tested negative for COVID-19, reported India.com.

In the video, he claimed that it was rumour and he gets the information first from the hospital regularly.

The authenticity of this report could not be verified.

There was no confirmation about this and according to reports, his health condition is stable but still on life support.

In a health bulletin issued by Chennai’s MGM Healthcare hospital, where he is undergoing treatment, on Saturday said that his condition was stable and continued to be closely monitored by the clinical team.

The 74-year old popular singer was admitted to MGM Healthcare here on August 5 after he tested positive for COVID-19.
