CRPF jawan, civilian killed in terrorist attack in J-K’s Baramulla district


The terrorists attacked a road opening party of the CRPF when they were placing a checkpost along with personnel of Jammu and Kashmir police on the Sopore by-pass highway in Model Town of Sopore, on Wednesday.


As per the official report, at least one CRPF jawan and a civilian were killed while two other security force personnel received injuries in a militant attack in Sopore town of Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to the report, the militants opened firing on a naka party of security forces in Sopore, resulting in injuries to three Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans and a civilian.

As per the official report, all the injured persons have been evacuated to a hospital and the area has been cordoned off to track down the assailants.
