India records 9,102 fresh Covid-19 cases, 117 fatalities in 24 hours

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 19,30,62,694 samples have been tested for COVID-19 detection up to January 25 with 7,25,577 of them being tested on Monday.

 

With 9,102 new COVID-19 infections reported in the last 24 hours, COVID-19 case tally reached 1,06,76,838, said the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, 117 patients succumbed to the deadly contagious disease, taking the fatalities count to 1,53,587.

According to the data provided by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of active cases in the country 1,77,266. Meanwhile 1,03,45,985 have been cured/discharged/migrated.
