With 16,946 new COVID-19 infections reported in the last 24 hours, COVID-19 case tally reached 1,05,12,093, said the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Thursday.

Meanwhile, 198 patients succumbed to the deadly contagious disease, taking the fatalities count to 1,51,727.

According to the data provided by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of active cases in the country  2,13,603. Meanwhile  1,01,46,763 have been cured/discharged/migrated.
