KPCC president DK Shivakumar's daughter Aishwarya engaged to VG Siddhartha's son

Former minister and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president DK Shivakumar’s daughter Aishwarya is all set to marry Amartya Hegde, son of Cafe Coffee Day founder late VG Siddhartha later this year.


KPCC chief DK Shivakumar's daughter Aishwarya and CCD founder late VG Siddhartha's son, Amarthya Hegde got engaged at SM Krishna Residence, Sadashivanagar in Bengaluru on Monday.

Amarthya Hegde is also the grandson of former Union Minister SM Krishna. He has completed his education in the US and is now managing his family’s business along with his mother. 

22-year-old Aishwarya, Shivakumar’s eldest daughter, is an engineering graduate.  

According to news agency ANI, only family members were present in the event. It is said that the marriage ceremony will be held later this year.

Last year in July, the body of Cafe Coffee Day (CCD) founder Siddhartha was unearthed on the banks of Netravati river.
This is the third grand marital alliance across political party. 

Earlier, former chief minister HD Kumaraswamy’s son Nikhil got married to Revathi, the grand niece of former minister and Congress MLA M Krishnappa.

 A few months back, Rithika Mohan, daughter of BJP Bengaluru Central Lok Sabha member PC Mohan, got engaged to BBMP corporator Yuvaraj, son of former Congress MLA RV Devraj.
