Pakistan Army violates ceasefire in J-K's Baramulla district

Pakistan on Tuesday violated ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Naugam Sector of the Baramulla district.

 

As per the report, the ceasefire violation by Pakistan took place on Tuesday morning by firing mortars and other weapons.

"On 30 Jun 2020 in the morning hours, Pakistan started unprovoked ceasefire violence (CFV) along the LOC in Naugam Sector, Baramulla (J&K) by firing mortars and other weapons," tweeted the Chinar Corps, Indian Army.

Accoring to the  Indian Army, a befitting response is being given.

Pakistan has been repeatedly violating ceasefire along LoC in bordering districts of Jammu and Kashmir over the past few weeks.

According to the government data, Pakistan’s army has violated the ceasefire more than 1,400 times this year. In 2019, there were 3,168 ceasefire violations and 1,629 in 2018.
