Telangana reports 2,795 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours

Telangana reported 2,795 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours, taking the total number of positive cases in the state to 1,14,483, the state's health department said on Thursday.

 

The total COVID-19 count includes 27,600 active cases and 86,095 recoveries. 

As many as 30,772 samples were tested per million population in Telangana and reports of 1,075 samples are awaited

Meanwhile, with eight new deaths due to the virus, the toll has reached 788. As many as 20,866 people are under home and institutional isolation.

The COVID-19 recovery rate of the state stands at 75.2 per cent, the Case Fatality Rate is at 0.68 per cent.

Meanwhile, with an increase of 75,760 COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, the coronavirus count in India has crossed 33 lakhs mark on Thursday.

According to the data provided by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India has recorded 75,760 coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, taking its total to 33,10,235 

Meanwhile, 1,023 patients succumbed to the deadly contagious disease in the last 24 hours, taking the fatalities count to 60,472.

According to the data provided by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of active cases in the country is 7,25,991. Meanwhile, 25,23,772 persons have been cured/discharged/migrated.
