MUNICH: Advancing the auto industry’s move towards electronic vehicles, luxury car maker BMW has announced that it would launch 25 new electrified models by 2023.

Earlier, BMW’s chairman of the board of management Herald Kruger had announced the release year to be 2025.

However, cars will be launching two years sooner than expected.

BMW's next fully electric vehicle will be the iX3 SUV, which is expected to arrive in 2020.
